Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge collapses after cargoship collision

Early Tuesday morning, the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, MD collapsed after a bridge support column was hit by a large container ship. The cargo ship Dali, a 984-foot vessel, notified authorities of “power issues” moments before slammed into a bridge support at nine miles per hour.
